Holiday Fashion Guide: Winter and Christmas Looks

The holidays are a time for family, friends and festivities. They're also a time to get dressed up! Not sure what to wear? No worries, I’ve got you covered with my winter and Christmas looks.

This one in particular is easy to use as a base or idea to pair pieces you already have in your wardrobe. A long-sleeve white shirt, oversized scarf or shawl in a blush, beige, or other neutral shade with black jeans these are bootcut. Pair them with a pair of booties for a simple any day or everyday look perfect for cooler temperatures.

This orange handbag incorporates a pop of color and this one has a boxy shape you can easily find dupes for in any price range. Get excited about dressing up for a winter event before you slide back in to comfy clothes when you get home.

From the office to the holiday party you can look stylish, stay warm, and still be comfortable.

I will be taking you through different styles that can be worn during the colder months as well as some festive holiday outfits perfect for any occasion throughout the coming days and weeks. So be sure to subscribe and follow to not miss any tips and ideas.

This outfit features classic closet staples like a long-sleeved white t-shirt. I chose the Halogen Long Sleeve Tee in White because it has a versatile length that allows you to tuck it in or leave it untucked without fixing and adjusting all the time. It’s also reasonably priced at $39, so this is a good fit for just about anyone looking for a good long sleeved tee.

Black jeans are sleek and hide minor spills if you drop a bit of those Thanksgiving sauces or jellies on your jeans. Barbara High Waist Stretch Black Bootcut Jeans are my choice because they have just enough stretch for Thanksgiving feasting with a slimming and lengthening quality thanks to the cut and fit.

If you’re anything like me then you get cold and all you want to do is wrap up in a blanket. This Oversize Ruana is the perfect warm, soft and cozy oversized scarf or wrap to give you that Sunday afternoon snuggled up on the couch feeling even on a Tuesday after a long conference call. At $49 it does not take a huge hit to the wallet considering how versatile it is and how often you’ll end up adding this to outfits.

For shoes you can use any pair of beige, tan, camel or a neutral tone (I chose to tie it to the shawl color, but you can mix it up to fit your style). I like adding height on boots since I’m on the shorter side and I like the power a good chunky heeled bootie makes me feel. These Sam Edelmen Platform Boots add height, style, and come in several colors to let you real dial this look into your style.

If you’re looking for something to add some interest then think about making a simple swap of one piece to add a pop of color. I love bags that aren’t too big and have a strap, so I was immediately drawn to the Steve Madden Dignify Croc Embossed Crossbody Bag which is bright and cheerful. This purse has a structured squarish shape that you can find dupes for in many different price points and shades that will let you tailor how much POP you want in your pop of color.

This guide is designed to give you some inspiration to re-vamp your wardrobe this holiday season. Do something for yourself to feel a little more vibrant and confident—even if you’re only taking photos with the family for Thanksgiving.
